Monday Market - State Library of Queensland Young Writers Award - July 13, 2012

Apologies for the very narrow focus of this week's post, but Lucas and I do a lot of work at the State Library and I'm a member of the Queensland Writers Centre, which is a sponsor of this award. On occasion some home state promotion is warranted:

Are you aged 18 to 25 and live in Queensland? Enter your short story of 2,500 words or less in the State Library of Queensland Young Writers Award 2012 and you could win $2,000 and career launching opportunities.

The submissions page has information and links to previous winners and commended entries, if you need some guidance to what they are looking for. Good luck! 25 feels quite a long time ago to me now.

NB: I don't think the conditions of entry documents are 424MB in size. That's likely a typo, though I'm too scared to click on it to confirm.
